Château Le Devay — Organic wine estate in Côte-Rôtie & Crozes-Hermitage

Château Le Devay
Florence and Jean-Charles Fournet

The Estate

Château Le Devay is located in Saint-Romain-en-Gal, in the northern Rhône Valley, in the immediate vicinity of the Côte-Rôtie appellation. Founded in 2005 by Florence and Jean-Charles Fournet, a passionate couple from medical backgrounds (speech therapist and radiologist), the estate was established on a vineyard left fallow for decades.

In just a few years, they revitalized this terroir with an innovative, environmentally friendly, and deeply quality-driven approach. The vineyard now spans 7 hectares, including 5 hectares of red grapes and 2 hectares of white grapes, with a limited production of approximately 30,000 bottles per year.
